The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) has been named in Site Selection magazine's best utility companies for economic development list in their September magazine.

The Knoxville News Sentinel said that the magazine used four criteria in evaluating the utilities - capital investment, job creation, capital investment per capita and jobs per 10,000 in population.
